Mr Leo Losey Jr.

Mr. Leo F. Losey, Jr., 63, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday October 2, 2012 at his home in La Porte. He was born April 10, 1949 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Leo F. Losey, Sr. and Betty (Cottrill) Losey. Leo worked as a Security Guard for Howmet Corp. He was a member of La Porte Assembly of God Church. Leo enjoyed building fish tanks, fishing, woodworking and collecting movies. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to tell jokes and pulling pranks on people. On August 2, 1997, in La Porte IN, he married Gayle Downs Losey who survives. He is also survived by his 3 daughters - Missie Hancock of South Bend, IN, Kellie Pattigrew of La Porte, IN, Julie Losey of Michigan City, IN; 2 step-daughters - Tammy (Dean) Newland of La Porte, IN, Christy (Rich) Boyd of Union Mills, IN; step-son - Dale (Lisa Menke) Bishop of La Porte, IN; and 15 grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jennie Koepke, 3 brothers, James Losey, David Losey, Thomas Losey, and a sister, Diana Minich. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 from 11:00 am to 12:00 PM at the La Porte Assembly of God Church. A life celebration will be held at LaPorte Assembly of God Church, Saturday October 6, 2012 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Jeff Hines and Rev. Roger Coleman officiating. Interment will be held at the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana on Tuesday October 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM EST.
