Mr. Kenneth West

Kenneth L West , 47, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at his home. He was born February 11, 1965 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Arthur A. West, Jr. and Norma J. (Schweder) West. Kenneth worked as a delivery driver for Key Stone Automotive. He was a member of Polish Falcons of LaPorte. Kenneth also worked part-time at the Falcons. He enjoyed collecting Star Wars and Star Trek collectables. Kenneth was a animal lover and was a big fan of football and baseball. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Norma J. West of LaPorte, IN.; three brothers - Terry A. (Katherine) West of La Porte, IN, Dennis L. West of La Porte, IN, Christopher (Doris) West of Kingsford Heights, IN; one sister - Debra (Bruce) Shelley of La Porte, IN; several nieces and nephews; he was especially fond of Christopher R. West, Jade West, Alexis West, and Trey West and his two godchildren, Gage Lantz, and Katlyn Lantz, and long-time friend, Joe Lantz, Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandparents, Arthur A. Sr and Girnell West. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. Cremation will take place. Services will take place at a later date.
