Mr. Jack Galloway

Mr. Jack D. Galloway, 77, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his home. He was born February 17, 1935 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Jesse R. Galloway and Ada (Stanage) Galloway Dipert and step-father Donald Dipert. Jack had worked in maintenance for 14 years at LaPorte Hospital. Jack enjoyed fishing and he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. On November 16, 1957, in Stillwell, IN, he married Ellen J. (Moore) Galloway who survives. He is also survived by his 3 sons - Thomas (Debi) Galloway of North Liberty, IN, Ronald (Essie) Galloway of La Porte, IN, William Galloway of Springfield, MO; 3 daughters - Kathleen (Richard) Singleton of Springfield, MO, Rhonda (Jason) Moles of La Porte, IN, Pamela (David) Baker of Kingsford Heights, IN; twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; 3 brothers - Dick Galloway of La Porte, IN, Claude Galloway of Rolling Prairie, IN, Gene Galloway of La Porte, IN; 2 sisters - Mary Ingole of Granger, IN, Nancy Bush of WI; very special relative - Robert Cross of Kingsford Heights, IN; many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Donald Dipert, 6 brothers, Carl, Jesse, Marion, Edward, Joseph, and Chuck Galloway, one grandaughter, one great grandaughter, and one great grandson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. There will be no visitation and no services. Cremation will take place.
