Henry John Polan October 2, 1945 - May 26, 2012 Henry John Polan , 66, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday May 26, 2012 at his home. He was born October 2, 1945 in Munden, Germany, the son of Henry Polanowski and Mary Ann (Sabowski) Polanowski Gach. Henry had lived in the La Porte area, since 1979, coming from Chicago, Illinois. Henry worked as an accountant. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Gach of Bridgeview, IL; former spouse - Annemarie Polan of La Porte, IN; 2 sons - Michael C. Polan of La Porte, IN, Aaron (Lou Ann) Polan of La Porte, IN; daughter - Courtney (Chris) Roxberry of La Porte, IN; one grandchild - Kaitlynn Hopper of Lake Station, IN; one sister - Pamela Disbrow of Tinley Park, IL. and two nieces. Henry was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 3:00 pm, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday May 31, 2012 at 5:30 PM. Cremation will take place.
