Mr. Donald Nowell

Mr. Donald G. Nowell, 38, of Hamlet, IN, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, IN. He was born November 29, 1972 in Valparaiso, Indiana, the son of Norwood "Woody" Nowell and Barbara (Good) Nowell-Zeman. Donald worked as a millwright for Bowen Engineering Corp. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers along the Kankakee River and his two dogs. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. On September 28, 2002, in Tracy, IN, he married Bobbi Sue (Wagoner) Wagoner-Nowell who survives. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Zeman of Hamlet, IN.; sister - Dawn Zeman of La Porte, IN, and one nephew - Chad Stroud of La Porte, IN. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Norwood Nowell and step-father, Donald Zeman. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2011 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & Monday, August 1, 2011 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday August 1, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Robert Coolman, officiating. Cremation will take place.
