Allison R. Hough April 2, 1933-January 7, 2013 Mr. Allison R. Hough, 79, of La Porte, Indiana, died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. He was born April 2, 1933 in Mill Creek, Indiana, the son of William P. Hough and Gladys (Brownlee) Hough. Allison worked as a sanitation engineer for LaPorte City, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed playing horse shoes, playing cards, video games, Yahtzee and crossword puzzles. Allison was a die-hard Cubs and Indiana Colts fan. Veteran of the US Army. On July 10, 1954, in Kingsbury, IN, he married Juanita (Griffin) Hough who preceded him in death February 3, 1996. He is survived by his 4 sons - Terry (Mary Reese) Hough of La Porte, IN, Tom (Annette) Hough of La Porte, IN, Joe Hough of La Porte, IN, Fred Hough of La Porte, IN; and daughter - Sherry Hough of La Porte, IN; 6 grandchildren - Earl Hough, Juanita Hough Courtney Hough, Crystal Morton, Michael Reese all of La Porte, IN, and John Miser of Mill Creek, IN.; eleven great-grandcildren. Allison was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Marilyn Hough, son, William Hough, 3 sisters, Jeanette Moon, Emma Hunt, and Iona Hummel. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There will be no service. Cremation will take place with burial of ashes in the Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.
