Misty Ann Escobedo March 15, 1979-July 27, 2018 Misty Ann Escobedo, 39, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at her home in La Porte, Indiana. She was born March 15, 1979 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Kenneth Griffin and Kathy (Lowery) Griffin of La Porte, Indiana. Misty enjoyed going camping and going to Mini Mountain Campground, doing landscaping with her husband, and going to garage sales. She enjoyed the company of her dog "Poppi" and especially loved being with her family during the holidays. On October 18, 2009, in La Porte, Indiana, she married Mario Escobedo who survives in La Porte, Indiana. She is also survived by her son, Alexander Magana of La Porte, IN; daughter, Teresa Magana of La Porte, IN; sister, Brittany Griffin-Harrison of La Porte, IN; niece, Leighton Rowe of La Porte, IN; grandmother, Verla Rexstrew of La Porte, IN; best friend, Robbie Masterson of La Porte, IN. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Indiana. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. (CST) - 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Mini Mountain Campground, 32351 IN-2, New Carlisle, Indiana 46552.
