Miss Garnet Miller

Garnet Miller, 60, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday November 23, 2011 at her home in La Porte. She was born August 18, 1951 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Mitchell Miller and Alice (Shepherd) Miller. She is survived by her parents; 2 aunts - Lana Shepherd of Kentucky, Victoria West of Florida; an uncle - Willie Miller of Medaryville, IN and many cousins. Garnet was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Miller. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 2011 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & Monday, November 28, 2011 10:00 am until time of the service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Monday November 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Coldiron officiating. Interment will follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana.
