Mrs. Mima Stamper Turner, age 69, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at St. Joseph Medical Center in South Bend, Ind. Mrs. Turner was employed by LaPorte Hospital and was a member of South Center United Baptist. . She was the daughter of the late Henry Stamper and Berth Mae Stamper Stamper. Surviving with her mother are four daughters; Mrs. Victoria David Lemley of New Carlisle, Indiana, Mrs. Mima Jean John Eddy of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, Mrs. Mary R. John Hutchinson of La Porte, Indiana, Mrs. Calla Mae Eric Arnholz of Union Mills, Indiana, six sons; Mr. Paul Joy Turner of Walkerton, Indiana, Mr. Darial Sunye Turner of La Porte, Indiana, Mr. Carl Turner of La Porte, Indiana, Mr. Dale Turner of La Porte, Indiana, Mr. Clay Turner of La Porte, Indiana, Mr. Roscoe Talina Turner, Jr. of La Porte, Indiana, two sisters; Mrs. Armine Cole of Canoe, Kentucky, Mrs. Margie Bellamy of Batavia, Ohio, two brothers; Mr. Elmer Stamper of Canoe, Kentucky, Mr. Charles Stamper of Jackson, Kentucky, eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Indiana where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 18, 2004 and from 9:00 AM Saturday, June 19, 2004 till time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Indiana.Saturday, June 19, 2004, Rev. Mathew White officiating.
