Mildred "Milly" Lucile Arndt January 11, 1922-February 13, 2015 Mrs. Mildred Lucile Arndt, 93, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday February 13, 2015 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born January 11, 1922 in Lincoln Twp, LaPorte County, Indiana, the daughter of Charles E. Glass and Beatrice E. (Travis) Glass. Mildred "Milly" enjoyed putting jigsaw puzzles together and bird watching. On June 10, 1944, in Tracy, IN, she married Owen E. Arndt who preceded her in death May 16, 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary L. (John) Kerwin of La Porte, IN; son, Paul Arndt of Kingsford Heights, IN; two grandsons, Kevin (Leslie) Young, Adam Kerwin; two great grandsons, Jeffrey Young, Justin Young, and one great-granddaughter, Cypriana Kerwin. Mildred "Milly" was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Dorothy Fleming, Merle Ellis, and Mary Droege. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, February 17, 2015, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Wednesday, February 18, 2015, from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday February 18, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Randy Cook officiating.
