Michael Allen Lisak October 24, 1950-January 17, 2015 Mr. Michael Allen Lisak, 64, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday January 17, 2015 at his home. He was born October 24, 1950 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Chester Lisak and Beatrice (Brueller) Lisak. Michael was a warehouse worker for Whirlpool. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the La Porte Lions Club. He was a Libertarian, and had run for mayor. On April 17, 1997, in La Porte, IN, he married Joanne (Biggs) Lisak who survives. He is also survived by his two sons, Tim (Julia) Lisak of La Porte, IN, John M. Lisak of La Porte, IN; grandson, Alexander Lisak of La Porte, IN; sister, LaDonna Tarpley of Michigan City, IN; and nephew, Donald Tarpley of Michigan City, IN. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chuck Lisak. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, January 21, 2015, 9:30 am until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 10:30 am with Rev. Ronald A. Brauer officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Salem Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana. Cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Michael Lisak .
