Michael Kraus

Michael R. Kraus, 46, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday January 25, 2009 at his residence. He was born May 27, 1962 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Robert Kraus and Stella Adamow Kraus. Michael worked as a janitor for Kabelin True Value, he was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church of LaPorte. He enjoyed walking, loved taking care of his two cats, and liked to play video games. He is survived by his two sisters, Roberta Timothy Bline of La Porte, IN, Deborah Lamar Leach of La Porte, IN. and one nephew, Christopher Leach. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind.where the family will receive friends Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., January 28, 2009 at 12:00 PM with Pastor David Riffel officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
