Mercedes Brooke Francis, three weeks old, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday October 24, 2009 at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born October 2, 2009 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Ronald B. Francis and Amy L. Forshee. She is survived by her grandparents Richard and Gail Vaughan of La Porte, IN, Thomas and Theresa Forshee of TN, Susan Vaughan of FL; twin sisters Harley and Makayla Francis of La Porte, IN; many aunts and uncles. Mercedes was preceded in death by her sister, Ansley Francis. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A Memorial Service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 6:30 PM with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Cremation has take place.
