Matthew Deiotte

Matthew D. Deiotte, 39, of Valparaiso, Indiana, died Tuesday August 17, 2010 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oaklawn, IL. He was born February 1, 1971 in Valparaiso, Indiana, the son of Charles Deiotte and Katheryn McCorkel Deiotte Ainsworth. Matthew was a member of the Local 395 Iron Workers. Matthew enjoyed riding motorcycles, and dirt bikes. He loved spending time with his children and family. He is survived by his two sons Deven Deiotte of La Porte, IN, Sullivan Deiotte of La Porte, IN; daughter - Taylor Deiotte of La Porte, IN; mother, Katheryn Jerry Ainsworth of LaPorte, IN.; step-grandmother - Phyllis Ainsworth; brother - Tom Dawn Deiotte of Wheatfield, IN; step-brother - Corey Tina Ainsworth of La Porte, IN; three sisters - Robin Joe Fiorito of La Porte, IN, Celine Hicks of La Porte, IN, Theresa Milo Bellis of Rolling Prairie, IN; step-sister - Karrie Scott Clark of Wakarusa IN; several nieces and nephews. Matthew was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, August 20, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 12:00 pm, until time of services. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday August 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Todd Woods officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family of Matthew D. Deiotte.
