Mary R. Moore July 31, 1922-November 16, 2014 Mary R. Moore, 92, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday November 16, 2014 at Golden Living Center-Countryside in LaPorte, IN. She was born July 31, 1922 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of John Larson and Lilly (Harold) Larson. Mary was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. She was a member of Door Village United Methodist Church, and Scipio Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary. On February 6, 1943, in LaPorte, IN, she married George J. Moore who preceded her in death April 9, 1993. She is survived by good neighbors and friends, Bruce and Donna Kessler of Tucson, AZ, Alan and Dawn Kessler of La Porte, IN, John and Tina Albertson of LaPorte, IN., and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Allan Moore, and one brother. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Door Village Cemetery with Rev. Chris Tiedeman, officiating. Interment will follow at the Door Village Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
