Mary Schoff

Mrs. Mary L. Schoff, age 94, of Hamlet, Ind., died 7:10 AM Monday, December 24, 2007, at Fountainview Terrace in La Porte, Ind. She was born April 14, 1913 in Plymouth, IN to the late Jacob Seeger and the late Anna Sebell Seeger. She has lived most all of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Schoff was a homemaker and was a member of Tracy Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed homemaking and being with her family, she got a great enjoyment from working at church. On September 24, 1932 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Louis Schoff who preceded in death in January of 1991. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Joyce David Daube of Hamlet, Ind., Mrs. Patricia J. Herman Koch of Hamlet, Ind., Mrs. Marion Gerald Stillman of New Berlin, Wis.; Eight grandchildren, Deborah Dunn of Edwardsburg, Mich., Rebecca Wirebaugh of Walkerton, Ind., Kirk Koch of Waukuesha, Wisc., Mark Koch of LaPorte, Ind., Kathryn Kasza of Waxhaw, NC., Connie Pettijohn of Spring Tex., Erick Stillman of Eau Claire, Wisc., Jennifer Lang of Eau Claire, Wisc.; Twenty great-grandchildren; and Three great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, one brother and one great great-grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2007 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Tracy. Funeral service will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Tracy at 11:00 AM Friday, December 28, 2007, Rev. David Albertin officiating. Interment will be at Tracy Cemetery in Hamlet, Ind.
