Mary Farley

She was born August 22, 1937 in Cooter, Missouri to the late Luther Hill and the late Minnie Yielding Hill and she has lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Farley is retired from Howmet Corp. as a material handler where she worked for 12 years. She was a union steward at Howmet Corp. She loved gardening and cooking. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Mary Greg Frey of Lake In The Hills, Ill., Mrs. Nancy Traeger of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Jody Doug Holloway of Akron, Ohio; Two Sons, Mr. Virgil Comeno, Mr. Robert Saffell of Nappanee, Ind.; Eight grandchildren; One great-grandchild; Two Sisters, Mrs. Virginia Chandler Roger Putts of Heber Springs, Ark. and Mrs. Elmer Jean -Emigh- Newell Shaver of Elkhart, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2008, Rev. Margaret J. Hunt officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
