Mary Frances Evans January 29, 1925-October 27, 2016 Mary Frances Evans (Harris) was one of five children born in Jackson, MS on January 29, 1925 to the union of Clarence Harris and Mozella Dabney. Mary Frances Harris married Banks Evans and through that union bore ten children. Mary or Frances as she was affectionately known was a hard working dedicated, generous, person who loved people and especially her children. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized her dedication by water baptism on April 1st 1957. Mary truly loved Jehovah and was a pillar of strength to her immediate family as well as the many nieces and nephews who would spend their summer vacations at her house. Mary would often pray that she would live long enough to see all ten of her children grow up and be able to take care of themselves. Thanks to Jehovah she lived to see that happen. Her faith, trust and confidence in Jehovah and his promises of a better world by means of a paradise earth was strong and solid. (Psalm 37:10:11) Her faith was inspiring. On October 27, 2016 Mary Frances Evans fell asleep in death in LaPorte, Indiana. She sleeps now in Jehovah God's loving memory until the promised resurrection hope recorded at John 5:28, 29 in God's word the Bible is fulfilled. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert, Donald and Banks Jr. and leaves to cherish her memory her sister Lorene Jamison, her children JoAnn, Louise, James, Bobby, (wife Mary), Diana, (husband Larry) David, (wife Sheila) and Marlise, (husband Charles) as well as 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Mary was truly loved and will be truly missed by all. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A funeral service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah"s Witnesses, Saturday November 5, 2016 at 12:00 P.M.
