Mrs. Mary "May Beth" E. Dysard , 90, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday May 21, 2009 at Beverly Living Center-Fountainview Terrace in LaPorte, IN. formerly living in the Door Village area, she was also a resident for sixteen years in Waterford, Wisconsin. She was born November 1, 1918 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Loren "Bert" Bartmess and Adah E. Brooks Bartmess. Mary "May Beth" was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member, since 1942 at the Door Village United Methodist Church, Pinola Grange #2204, Scipio Twp. Homemakers Club, Union Mills Lion's Club and former member of the Scipio Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxillary and 4-H leader. Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. On February 24, 1940, in LaPorte, IN., she married Howard A. Dysard who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Marilyn Lloyd Vance of Sebring, FL; son, John Celeste Dysard of Jupiter, FL; Six Grandchildren, Five Great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mary "May Beth" was preceded in death by her son, Thomas W. Dysard, brother, Robert L. Bartmess, half-brother, William Bartmess, Half-brother, Adrian Bartmess, Half-sister, Dorothy Peterson, half-brother, Adam L. Bartmess. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday May 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Door Village Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
