Mary Crump

Mrs. Mary Jane Crump, age 86, of 5740 E. Division Rd., La Porte, Ind., died Friday, May 13, 2005, at 11:41 PM at the LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born June 30, 1918 in Plymouth, Indiana to the late Earl and Zazel Wakley Mishler, and had moved to LaPorte in 1994 from McAllen, Texas. She had lived in many foreign countries during her life. Mrs. Crump was employed by Iran-Terran Embassy as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, and was an avid square dancer and loved to play cards. On May 29, 1946 in Franklin, Indiana she married Leonard W. Crump who preceded her death May 1, 1993. Survivors include Eyvette K. Jan D. Rose of LaPorte, Sonja Ward New of LaPorte, Earl David Mishler of South Bend, and Chiyomi Takaba of Hitachi, Japan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Ben Mishler and John G Mishler. Private Family Graveside services will be held at a later date.
