Martha Fisher

Martha Fisher, age 38, of La Porte, Ind., died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born February 15, 1970 in Chicago, Ill. to the late McKinley Fisher, Jr. and Lydia Ramos Fisher Chavez. Fisher was employed by "I" Street Bar as a waitress and was a member of St. Jude-Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Chicago, Ill. She studied and graduated from Purdue North Central with a Nursing Degree in 2005-2006. She is also survived by her Husband Anthony Aldana Sr. of LaPorte; Two Daughters, Anissa Aldana of La Porte, Ind., Amanda Aldana of La Porte, Ind.; Two Sons, Alfonso Aldana of La Porte, Ind., Anthony Aldana, Jr. of La Porte, Ind.; Mother Mrs. Lydia Ramos Chavez of Hammond, Ind.; Step Father Salvador Chavez of Hammond, Ind.; One Sister, Chloe Ramos of Hammond, Ind.; Two Brothers, Salvador Chavez of Hammond, Ind., Andres Chavez of Hammond, Ind.; and several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, June 30, 2008. A Rosary service will be held Monday at 6:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at St. Jude-Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3200 91st St., Chicago, Ill. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 1, 2008, Father Carl Quebedeaux officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind., Rev. Ian Williams will be officiating the Committal Service.
