Mark E. Cooley May 15, 1960-January 4, 2018 Mark E. Cooley, 57, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday January 4, 2018 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. He was born May 15, 1960 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Walter Cooley and Margaret (Barger) Cooley. He was a Custodian for the La Porte School Systems. He is survived by his two sons, Dylan Cooley of South Haven, IN, Noah Cooley of South Haven, IN; three sisters, Sherry Strieter of Niles, MI, Beverly Goodman of La Porte, IN, Mary L. Gifford of La Porte, IN; four nephews, Mark Vowels of Niles, MI, Dustin Umphrey of Niles, MI, Charles Goodman of La Porte, IN, Walter Goodman of La Porte, IN; and a niece, Amanda West of La Porte, IN. Mark was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Pansey Cooley. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, January 8, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday January 8, 2018 at 4:00 pm with Pastor David Adams officiating.
