Mrs. Marjorie E. ?Mimi? Hoyt, 72 of 28 Richmond St. LaPorte, Indiana died Sunday February 6, 2005 at her residence. She was born December 31, 1932 in Rensselaer, Indiana to Elmer and Erma Clapp Strinke, who has proceeded. Mrs. Hoyt has lived in LaPorte for 50 years, coming from Medaryville, Rensselaer, Indiana area. On September 24, 1955 Marjorie was married to Richard J. Hoyt, who proceeded, August 31, 1998. Marjorie worked for American Home Foods as a Laborer and retired in 1983. Marjorie attended the Salvation Army Church; she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Surviving is a son, Mr. Lee Hoyt of LaPorte, IN, two daughter?s, Mrs. Laura Ruskowsky of LaPorte, IN, Mrs. Linda Charles Albertson of LaPorte, IN, a brother, Mr. Glenn Steinke of Richmond, IN, a sister, Mrs. Doris Paul Timm of LaPorte, IN, four grandchildren, Brandon Albertson of LaPorte, IN, Rebecca Ruskowsky of LaPorte, IN, Rachel Ruskowsky of LaPorte, IN, Marlee Hoyt of LaPorte, IN, and a step-grandchild, Ashley Schroeder of LaPorte, IN. There will be no visitation or service, Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Marjorie E. Hoyt family.
