Marie Mcallister

Mrs. Marie Elouise McAllister, age 79, of La Porte, Ind., died 10:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2007, at her residence in La Porte, Ind. She was born May 22, 1928 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late William Schweder and the late Clara Messman Schweder. She has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. She loved to Embroider and make baby quilts. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places and loved to be around children. On July 24, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church Chapel she married Leroy McAllister who survives. She is also survived by Three Stepson, Mr. Jerry Cindy McAllister of Galveston, Texas, Mr. Don Pat McAllister of Galveston, Texas, Mr. Roy Loretta McAllister of Houston, Texas; Seven grandchildren; Two Sisters, Mrs. Esther Pawlikowski of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Betty Towel of La Porte, Ind.; and eighteen Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Two Step-daughters, Sheryl Lynn McAllister, Vicki Lynn McAllister; Four Brothers, Lester Schweder, Harold Schweder, Elmer Schweder, Frank Schweder; and One Sister Verna Schadowsky. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, December 10, 2007and from 1:00 PM Tuesday December 11, 2007 until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2007, Rev. Ronald A. Brauer officiating.
