Marian Webb

Marian Webb September 17, 1919-March 10, 2017 Marion Lucelle Webb (Yeager) was born on September 17, 1919 in Lawrence, Illinois and passed on to be with our Lord on March 10, 2017, at Roo Lan Lodge in Lacy, Washington. She was the daughter of Marie Yeager and raised by her grandparents Sam and Lou Yeager. She graduated from Champaign High School, Champaign Illinois, in 1936. She married John Branscomb in 1937, and had five children: John Jr., Robert Eugene, William Kenneth, Richard Cornell, and Hazel Marie. They were married for 23 years. In October of 1964, she married Louis Webb. They were married for 35 years until his death on August 17, 1999. The Webbs lived in Kingsford Heights, Indiana and were members of Community AME Church in La Porte, Indiana. Her sons William Kenneth and Richard Cornell preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons John Jr., Robert Eugene, and daughter Hazel Marie Harmon, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Avenue, LaPorte, IN. There will be viewing at Haverstock Funeral Home in La Porte, Indiana on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by funeral services celebrating Marion Webb's life.
