Madison Renee Merchant September 1, 2000-June 23, 2018 Madison Renee Merchant, 17, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Indiana. She was born September 1, 2000 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Andrew Merchant and Melanie Krcilek. Madison was a fun, loving, free spirited girl. She enjoyed having fun and being around her family and friends. She always made everyone around her laugh and smile. Madison enjoyed being outdoors, especially the beach. She enjoyed being around animals and loved to eat tacos. She is survived by her two brothers, Alec Krcilek, Trenton Oman; sister, Kaitlin Merchant; two grandmothers, Julie Krcilek, Laura Pearson. Madison was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Randy Merchant, Michael Krcilek; uncle, Jason Orsborn. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Indiana. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
