Mabel Starzyk

Mrs. Mabel Starzyk, age 95, of Sebring, Fla., died Sunday, January 13, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Sebring, Fla. She was born on April 1, 1912 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Albert Peo and the late Laura Hileman Peo. Mrs. Starzyk had been employed by LaPorte Hospital as a nurse for 45 years. Member of Faith Baptist Church of LaPorte. She was also a member of Senior Citizens and AARP and she loved playing BINGO at the Fairway Pines Living Center in Sebring, Florida. She is also survived by her , Two Daughters, Mrs. Linda Dean of Sebring, Fla, Mrs. Carol Mullins of Michigan City, Ind, One Son, Mr. Dan Wallis of Michigan City, Ind, Two Sisters, Mrs. Joyce Klum of Lakeland, Fla, Mrs. Lesley Wooton of Michigan City, Ind, One Brother, Mr. Robert Peo of Owosso, Mich. Mrs. Strarzyk has Twenty grandchildren, Twenty One great-grandchildren, Eight great-great grandchildren . Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19, 2008, With Pastor Jack M. Cox, officiating. Interment will be at Springville Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
