Lucille Fadke

Lucille M. Fadke December 23, 1928-October 10, 2014 Mrs. Lucille M. Fadke, 85, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday October 10, 2014 at Brentwood Assisted Living in LaPorte, IN. She was born December 23, 1928 in Harvey, Illinois, the daughter of Bastian Vanderaa and Henrietta (Santeford) Vanderaa. Lucille was a member of First Reformed Church of Three Oaks, Michigan. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and cleaning. She grew to love the Chicago Cubs. Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family, she especially loved her grandchildren. On December 6, 1947, in Dolton, IL, she married David W. Fadke who preceded her in death May 11, 1996. She is survived by her son, David S. Fadke of La Porte, IN; four daughters, Diane (Dan) Curran of Amana, IA, Barbara Goldstein of Woodstock, IL, Patty Fadke of Oswego, IL, Karen Fadke of Auror, IL; seven grandchildren, Matt Goldstein, Rob Goldstein, Shannon Sickels, Brandon Sickels, Jordan Fadke, Lauren Fadke, and Ashleigh Fadke; two great-grandchildren, Nicole Goldstein, and Nicholas Goldstein; one sister, Flo L. Leensvaart of Lansing, IL. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one great-grandchild, Maia Goldstein. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Wednesday October 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ron Ahrens, officiating. Interment will follow at the Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Reformed Church 301 N. Elm Street Three Oaks, MI. 49128-1030.
