Mr. Louis G. Heminger, 88, of 800 Michigan Ave. Apt. 202A LaPorte, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 5:00 AM at his residence. He was born August 10, 1916 in Solway, MN, to William R. and Nellie Elizabeth Rogers Heminger, who has proceeded. Also preceded in death are three sisters, Lucy, Helen and Eva, three brothers, Charlie, Fred, Earl, a grandson, Todd Sanders, and a great-grandchild, Candace Byers. Mr. Heminger lived in the Hudson Lake area for 43 years, Mission, Texas for 20 years, and in LaPorte, Indiana for 1 ½ years. On August 17, 1939 in Bemidgi, MN, he was married to Evelyn V. Price, who survives. Mr. Heminger was self-employed as a Carpenter, for 30 years, retiring in 1983. Mr. Heminger was a member of the Hudson Lake Conservation Club, Thousand Trails Camp Membership, Sons of Norway and Little League Sponsor. Surviving is a son, Mr. John Dottie Heminger of Auburn, IN, three daughter, Mrs. Laurel Jill Sanders of Fairbault, MN, Mrs. Judith Charles Cullins of Nickolas, KY, Mrs. Marilyn Reed of Fruitland Park, FL, a son, Patrick Heminger of Hudson Lake, IN, and a daughter, Mrs. Janice Steve Radford of Michigan City, IN. The Funeral will be a Memorial Service at Haverstock Funeral Home on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. William Fine officiating.
