Mrs. Louetta L. Blakley, age 67, of La Porte, Ind., went to her heavenly home Saturday, July 12, 2008. She was born July 26, 1940 in South Bend, Ind. to the late Howard Hostetler and the late Thelma Singleton Hostetler. Mrs. Blakley attended Commonwealth Business College and was employed by American Rubber for seven years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest, Ohio. She was a very giving and compassionate person; she helped anyone that needed help. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they brought joy into her life. She loved attending church and singing the old hymns. She was a nature lover she loved watching birds and being outside and she always had hard candy around. On June 9, 1958 in South Bend, Ind. she married Harold Norris who preceded her in death. On May 1, 1971 she remarried in Findlay Ohio to David Blakley who survives. She is also survived by Eight Daughters, Deb Phil Norris Alge Anthony of Mount Blanchard, Ohio, Susan Norris Paul of Lydick, Ind., Barb Norris Tackett of Forest, Ohio, Lori Wayne Norris Patrick Stefano of Walkerton Fish Lake, Ind., Pam Joe Norris Daley , Judy Ron Norris Campbell , Sandy Ross Norris Miller , Angie Roger Blakley Hoops Nichols, all of LaPorte; One Son, Rick Kathy Norris of La Porte, Ind.; Twenty Two grandchildren; Sixteen great-grandchildren; Step-mother, Lillian Hostetler of Coloma, Mich.; Three Sisters, Lois Jack Lovitt of Lydick, Ind., Linda Perry of Fort Collins, Colo., Carol Ted Lake of Buchanan, Mich., One Step Sister, Pat Pope of Covert, Mich.; Three Brothers, Lonnie Hostetler of Simmesport, La. Joe Hostetler of Coloma, Mich., and Clifford Donna Wolff of Rolling Prairie, Ind. She is preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother, John Hostetler; One Step-sister, Vall O'Dell, and Three Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, and on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Funeral service will be at House of Prayer and Restoration in Fish Lake, Ind. at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, Pastor Michael Hannah and Pastor Kenneth Smith officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in North Liberty, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the donor's choice.
