'Joe' Loren O. Moore December 29, 1926-July 24, 2016 Loren O. Moore age 89, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his children, Lorena Boyd, Marlena Hill, Michael (Beckie) Moore, Melody Bair and Teena McKeehan; 14 grandchildren; over 30 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and brother, Harry D. (Betty) Moore. Preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Agnes Moore; wife, Henrietta (Euler) Moore; brother, Harlan Moore; grandsons, Matthew Bair and Jacob Loren McKeehan. Joe was born and raised in La Porte, IN and retired from Modine Manufacturing with 38 years of service. He farmed from the time he was a teenager until his life's end. On August 2, 1947 in Plymouth, IN he married Henrietta Euler. Joe proudly served our country in the US Marine Corps in the Pacific. He enjoyed camping, fishing and driving his International across the Mackinac bridge. Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Avenue La Porte, IN with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Interment to follow at Patton Cemetery, La Porte, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
