Lois Stoner

Mrs. Lois Irene Stoner, age 72, of Rolling Prairie, Ind., died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in New Carlisle, Ind. She was born on January 29, 1936 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Harry Boles and the late Doris Hartline Boles. She spent most of her life in the Rolling Prairie, area. Mrs. Stoner was employed by Rolling Prairie School System as a librarian aid for forty-one years, and retired in 2000. She was a member of Rolling Prairie First Christian Church. On August 7, 1954 in Rolling Prairie, Ind. she married Lester Stoner, who preceded January of 1994. She is survived by her: Two Sons, Mr. Donald Bonnie Stoner of Rolling Prairie, Ind. Mr. Howard Annie Randler of Bufford, S.C. Seven Grandchildren; Stephanie Satchwell of Mill Creek, Ind., Trisha Tibbs of Walkerton, Ind, Joshua Stoner of Walkerton, Ind., Paula Randler of South Carolina, Adam Stoner of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Lynnette Stoner of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Candice Stoner of Rolling Prairie, Ind. And Six Great-grandchildren. One Sister, Mr. Carmen Deepe of Springfield, Mo. She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Lester Stoner; Son, Mark John Stoner; Son, Bruce Leon Stoner; Sister, Clara Nelson and Sister, Jean Doms. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008 and from 9:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2008, until time of service... Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2008, with Rev. Ransom Ebersole, officiating.
