Linda Prater

Linda Sue Prater, 46, of 9833 So. Co. Rd. 100 W, Union Mills, Indiana, passed away, Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at her home. Linda was born, January 20, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to Virginia and John Owens. Linda was employed for many years at R & R Plastics in Kingsbury, Indiana as a foreman and Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana as a head cashier for nine years. Linda leaves behind her loving husband, Walter, her son, Jason and his girlfriend Dorthyea Williams of LaPorte, Indiana; one step-son, Walter Prater of Sullivan, Indiana; two step-daughters, Kim Chris Camden of Linton, Indiana and Carla Steve Lowe of Farmersburg, Indiana and eleven step-grandchildren; two grandaughters, Syerra of Union Mills, Indiana and Hailey of LaPorte, Indiana; one grandson, Alayn of LaPorte, Indiana; two loving sisters, Carolyn Wayne Copeland of Hamlet, Indiana, Brenda Wilke of Union Mills, Indiana; her aunt, Linda Sarandrea of Providence, RI., and her uncle Agee Virginia Walters of Fairborn, OH and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John Owens and Virginia Owens Hackler, her step-father James Hackler and many loving aunts and uncles. Visitation will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Saturday September 4, 2004 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service at 1:00 PM Sunday September 5, 2004 at Haverstock Funeral Home, with Rev.
