Miss. Linda M. Martensen, 49 of 494 E. Michigan Lot 23 New Carlisle, Indiana died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at 8:30 AM est. at Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Indiana. Miss. Martensen was born September 11, 1955 in LaPorte, Indiana to Herbert and Geneva Borders Martensen, who survives. Miss. Martensen has lived all of her life in the LaPorte area. Miss. Martensen worked as a laborer in Avon Park, Florida in a retirement Home. Preceded in death are her grandparents, surviving is her mother, Mrs. Geneva Martensen of LaPorte, IN, her father, Mr. Herbert Martensen of Montgomery, TX, three brothers, Mr. Wayne M. Bonnie Martensen of Cassopolis, MI, Mr. William L. Martensen of LaPorte, IN, Mr. Wendell H. Martensen of LaPorte, IN, a sister, Mrs. Mary Doug Wilson of Mishawaka, IN, Miss. Martensen has several aunts and uncles, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Luncheon will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday February 3, 2005 at the Salem Chapel United Methodist Church, immediately following the Luncheon, a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM. With Rev. Mark Harris officiating, there will be no visitation. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Salem Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.
