Linda Long

Mrs. Linda D. Long, age 53, of Sutton, W. Va., died Saturday, August 20, 2005, at Braxton Memorial Hospital in Braxton, W. Va. She was born May 20, 1952 in LaPorte, IN. to the late Vincent Martine and the late Ruth Seekell Martine, she has lived in Sutton, WV for the last three years moving there from Portage, IN. Mrs. Long was employed by Various Restaurants as a cook. She has been ill for the last two years and will be missed by her family and friends. On May 1, 1995 in Portage, IN. she married Joseph Long who survives. Also surviving are Two Daughters, Mrs. Martha Mathew Thompson of Shrewsbury, Mass., Mrs. Roxanne Steve Burgess of Hamlet, Ind.; Four Sisters, Mr. Marcia Jenner of Michigan City, Ind., Mrs. Sandra Charles Lewis of Michigan City, Ind., Mrs. Sheila Konzelmann of Michigan City, Ind., Mrs. Marcia Therlo Jenner of Michigan City, Ind. and one Grandchild Aleczander Thompson. She is preceded in death by her Parents and One Sister, Bargara Childers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2005. A Memorial Service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2005 , Pastor Floyd Wilcox officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
