Linda M. Johnson June 5, 1948-March 28, 2011 Linda M. Johnson, 62, of South Bend, Indiana, died Monday March 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. She was born June 5, 1948 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Richard Johnson and Mary (Penn) Johnson. She was a member of New Jerusalem Church of God In Christ. She is survived by her daughter - Marquetta Jones affectionately know as Coco of Shelbyville, IN; son - Tony Turner of Seymour, IN; 3 grandchildren; sister - Rita (Bernoice) Foster of South Bend; 2 brothers - James Johnson of Milwaukee, WI, Richard "Sleppy" Johnson of La Porte; and a host of nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. The family will receive friends at the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in Kingsford Heights, IN Saturday, April 02, 2011 from11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Services will be held at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, Saturday April 2, 2011 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael H.L. Bush officiating.
