Lillian Niendorf July 29, 1933-October 30, 2017 Lillian Niendorf, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at her home in La Porte, Indiana. She was born July 29, 1933 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Harold Hopson Parker and Agnes (Pliska) Parker. Lillian retired in 1996 after 38 years as a secretary for the Whirlpool Corporation. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a member of the St. Joan of Arc Circle. On July 2, 1955, in La Porte, Indiana she married Robert Niendorf who preceded in death May 27, 1994. She is survived by two nieces: Kristine Niendorf of Hull, MA; niece, Vicki (Nicolas) Sauceda of Houston, TX; nephew, Jay Niendorf of La Porte, IN; sister-in-law, Patricia (Jim) Niendorf of La Porte, IN. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends in the gathering space at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1101 Michigan Ave., La Porte, Indiana on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m with Rev. Ian Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.
