Leota Troy

Mrs. Leota June Heise Troy, age 75, of La Porte, IN, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Fountainview Terrace in La Porte, IN. She was born February 8, 1931 in LaPorte, Indiana, to George Heise, Jr. and Leota Brockmann Heise, who has preceded. Also preceded in death are two brothers, Donald W. Heise, Robert F. Heise. Mrs. Troy has lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. On February 18, 1956 in LaPorte, Indiana, she was married to William Troy, who survives. Mrs. Troy was employed by LaPorte Hospital as a registered nurse for 13 years, retiring in 1993. Mrs. Troy was a nurse for 40 years, also working for Fairview-community for 6 years, and Maple City Family Clinic for 12 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of LaPorte. She also Attended Wesley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, was a 1952 graduate. Surviving is her husband Mr. William C. Troy; of LaPorte, IN, Two Daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Troy Johnson of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Valerie A. Troy of Alameda, Calif, Two Sons, Mr. William M. Carly Troy of La Porte, IN, Mr. Mark E. Olga Troy of Union Mills, IN, Two Brothers, Mr. Ralph E. Jean Heise of La Porte, IN, Mr. James W. Heise of Bonita Springs, Fla. Mrs. Troy has Five grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2006, and from 9:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2006, until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2006 , with Rev. Ronald A. Brauer officiating. Interment will be at Tracy Cemetery in Hamlet, IN.
