Lena Farrow

Mrs. Lena M. Farrow, 71 of 622 E. Barker Avenue Michigan City, Indiana died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 10:38 AM in LaPorte Hospital. She was born June 22, 1933 in Almena, MI to Clyde Homer and Gertrude Potter Hodges, who has proceeded. Mrs. Farrow lived in the LaPorte area for 35 years, coming from Lawton, Michigan. On August 22, 1949 in Paw Paw, Michigan she was married to Mark L. Farrow, who proceeded, May 2, 1973. Also preceded in death are two brothers and two grandchildren. Mrs. Farrow worked for Gateway Industries as an Assembler, for 12 years, she was a member of the Countryside Christian Church, and the Teamsters Union of Michigan City, IN, she enjoyed baking, and also sold fish bait at her residence. Surviving is a companion, Mr. Don Mills of Michigan City, IN, a son, Mr. LeRoy ?Pete? Diane Farrow of Lawton, MI, a son Mr. Mark B. Rose Farrow, Jr. of Michigan City, IN, a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Gilbert Bradford of Michigan City, IN, a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen J.B. Stafford of Vernon, AL, a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Jerry Leffew of Harriman, TN, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Jim Farlie of Michigan City, IN, a daughter, Mrs. Sherry David Lykins of LaPorte, IN, a brother, Mr. James Shirley Hodges of Kalamazoo, MI, a brother, Mr. Earl Shirley Hodges of Kalamazoo, MI, a brother, Mr. Robert Hodges of Tampa, FL, a sister, Mrs. Pearl Tomlinson of Lake City, FL. Mrs. Farrow has 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home Inc. with Rev. John Ault officiating. Friends may call on Friday February 25, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home, and from 9:00AM on Saturday, February 26, 2005 until time of service.
