Lee Fredrickson

A graveside service for Mr. Lee B. Fredrickson, 94, of 1103 W. 10 th St., LaPorte, will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City. He died Monday, July 19, 2004, at 7:45 p.m. at LaPorte Hospital. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 28, 1910, in LaPorte to Hawley and Lillie Pregnitz Fredrickson, and had lived all his life in the LaPorte area. Mr. Fredrickson retired in 1959 as police chief with the LaPorte City Police Department. He was a member of LaPorte FOP 54 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. On July 15, 1977, in Evergreen Park, Ill., he married Eva Root Ringo, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Barbara Wykoff of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
