Lavonne Lange

Mrs. Lavonne Mae Lange, age 90, of Rolling Prairie, Ind., died Monday, October 6, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She lived most of her life in the Rolling Prairie, Ind. area, moving from Illinois at the age of 2. She was born on July 28, 1918 in Buckingham, Illinois to the late Clinton A. Williams and the late Edith Markham Williams. Mrs. Lange was employed by Adams Comfort Engineering as an office manager, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church. She was a Past President of the Rolling Prairie Lionettes and member of the United Methodist Women and the Rolling Prairie Business and Community Group. On June 6, 1939 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, she married Raymond H. Lange, who preceded, in death. She is survived by her; Two Sons, R. Howard Lange of Indianapolis, Ind., Thomas C. Bonnie Lange of Columbus, Ind.; Two Grandchildren, Melissa Lange and Thomas C. Lange. She is preceded in death by her; Mother, Mrs. Edith Markham Williams; Father, Mr. Clinton A. Williams; Husband, Raymond H. Lange; One Sister, Elizabeth "Sally" Peterson and Two Brothers, Everett C. Williams, Raymond A. Williams. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 9, 2008, and on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church from 9:30 AM, until time of service. Funeral service will be at Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church at 10:30 AM Friday, October 10, 2008, with Rev. Dorothy Jones, officiating.
