Mrs. Laura J. Baker Hill, age 66, of La Porte, Ind., died 12:30 PM Friday, December 22, 2006, at Her Residence in La Porte, Ind. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker. She loved Collectibles, antiques, country music, Steve Erwin Animal Plant, her family and Kids. She was born Sept. 11, 1940 in Berrien Co., Mich. to the late Harry Baker and the late Lillian Mitchell Baker. She has lived in the LaPorte area for 64 years coming from Berrien Co., Mich. On October 2, 1956 in LaPorte she married Paul H. Hill Sr. who survives. She is also survived by Two Daughters, Mrs. Terry Kevin O'Connor of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Laurie John Meyers of New Carlisle, Ind.; Two Sons, Mr. Chris Linda Hill of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Dennis J. Hill of La Porte, Ind.; Fourteen grandchildren; Six great-grandchildren; Three Sisters, Mrs. Jane Myers of Niles, Mich., Mrs. June Searing of Drain, Ore., Mrs. Sarah Sims of Mill Creek, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Walter Baker of La Porte, Ind. She is preceded in death by her Parents, One Son, Paul H. Hill Jr.; One Sister, Nancy Harmon; Two Brothers, Arthur Stevens and Carl Baker. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2006 and from 9:00 AM Friday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, December 29, 2006. Interment of ashes will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
