Larry Tucker

Mr. Larry J. Tucker, 59, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday June 17, 2009 at his residence in La Porte, IN. He was born February 4, 1950 in Attala, Alabama, the son of Adrian Tucker and Winell Hamby Tucker Mooney. He lived in the LaPorte area, all of his life. Larry worked as a laborer for Accurate Casting for twenty-seven years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Kingsbury Baptist Church. On December 9, 1972, in LaPorte, IN., he married Dorothy H. Cooper, who preceded him in death January 4, 2003. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Edwards of Hayden, AL, Judy Meadows of Kingsford Hgts., IN; companion, Donna Vantrease; Several nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Jordan Andrew Tucker and sister, Mavis Harris. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind.
