Larry D. Richardson October 26, 1949-September 24, 2014 Mr. Larry D. Richardson, 64, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born October 26, 1949 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Billy D. Richarrdson and Patricia (Hickman) Richardson. Larry had worked fifteen years and retired from Suzuki Garphyttan Co. in South Bend, Indiana. He was a member of First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie. Larry was a sports fan for the Bears and Colts. On May 28, 1994, in Knox, Indiana, he married Kimberley (Minix) Richardson who survives. He is also survived by his father, Billy D. Richardson of Rolling Prairie, IN.; son, Kevin (Stephanie) Richardson of Knox, IN; four daughters, Melissa (Jim) Mitchell of Knox, IN, Kassandra Rickert of New Carlisle, IN, Amanda Stiffler of New Carlisle, IN, and Samantha Marriott of Rolling Prairie, IN; nineteen grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Erma Minix of North Judson, IN. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, one son, Jeremy Richardson, and one sister, Penny Houk. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday, September 28, 2014 1:00 pm until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Sunday September 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Cremation will take place.
