Larry Pike

Larry B. Pike, 60, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2011 at LaPorte Hospital. He was born March 30, 1951 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Clarence Pike and Dorothy (Davis) Pike. Larry was a member of The New Church, where he was a trustee. Larry enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his sister - Imogene Gemberling of La Porte, IN; step-sister - Carolyn Wolf of La Porte, IN; brother - James Pike of La Porte, IN; nephew - Roger Gemberling of Columbus, IN, and great-niece - Katie Gemberling of Columbus, IN. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bob Pike, nephew, Danny Gemberling, and brother-in-law, Ron Wolf. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday April 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Freeman Schrock officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
