Larry Lower

Larry L. Lower March 13, 1934-January 7, 2016 Larry L. Lower, 81, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday January 7, 2016 at Miller's Health and Rehab in LaPorte, IN. He was born March 13, 1934 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Lester G. Lower and Carrie (Underwood) Lower. Larry had worked for the Whirlpool Corp. On November 10, 1962, in Chicago, IL, he married Kay (Stayback) Lower, who preceded him in death July 16, 2003. He is survived by his three daughters, Pamela Majcher of La Porte, IN, Jeri (Bruce) Dove of La Porte, IN, and Debra (Reggie) Williams of La Porte, IN; five grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two brothers, Ronald Lower, and David Lower, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday January 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry Owen, officiating.
