Larry D. Garrison January 2, 1938 - July 12, 2016 Larry D. Garrison age 78, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loretta Garrison; children, Debra (John) Marsh, Keith (Kris) Ferguson and Cindy Bryan; grandchildren, Mindy Heidel, Jenny Minich, Laurie Frazier, Katie Marsh, Felicia Rising, Kayla Banks, Jennifer Samm, Taylor Bryan, Brianna Bryan and Max Bryan; 10 great grandchildren; sisters in law, Evelyn Garrison, Dorothy Garrison, Ethel Ferguson and Marilyn Nelson; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Garrison and Neva Tippy and grandsons, Joshua Eikens and Kevin Bryan II and great grandson, Skyler Kleine. Larry was 1956 graduate of Union Township High School and went on to retire from the US Postal Service as Postmaster. He proudly served our country in the US Marines Corps. Larry was a member of the American Legion Kingsford Heights and a longtime member of the Tracy United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and spending the winters with Loretta RVing around the country. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will sadly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10:00 am at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Avenue La Porte, IN with Pastor Ann Dill officiating. Interment to follow at Tracy Cemetery, Tracy, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
