Rev. Kenneth L. Robbins, age 63, of Mill Creek, Ind., died Monday, May 15, 2006, at 10:00 PM at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born September 5, 1942 in Mount Vernon, Kentucky to the late Charlie Robbins and the late Viola Bullock Robbins. He has lived in the Mill Creek area since 1961 coming from Crawfordsville, Ind. Rev. Robbins was employed by AM Corp for 30 years, Teledyne for 6 years and was pastor and member of The First Freewill Baptist Church of Rolling Prairie. He was also a member of National Association of Freewill Baptists, had been a youth leader for several years. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing. On May 23, 1964 in LaPorte, Ind. he married Glenda Johnson who survives. He is also survived by his Two Daughters, Sherry Robbins of Mill Creek, Ind., Mr. Shelly Dan Foresman of Mill Creek, Ind.; Seven Sisters, Mrs. Minnie Mae Landman Petrey of Lexington, Ky., Mrs. Francis Robert Petrey of Crab Orchard, Ky., Mrs. Virginia Lail of Hickory, N.C., Mrs. Helen Steve Chesser of Lewisburg, Ohio, Mrs. Irene Roy Hodges of Clyde, N.C., Mrs. Josephine Oaks of Danville, Ky., Mrs. Roberta Harold Brown of Brodhead, Ky.; Four Brothers, Mr. Billy Wayne Robbins of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Paul Viola Robbins of Alexandria, Ohio, Mr. Jesse Brenda Robbins of Lewisburg, Ohio, Mr. Jack Sue Robbins of Crab Orchard, Ky.; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 18, 2006 and from 9:00 AM Friday, May 19, 2006 until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, May 19, 2006, Rev. Glen Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
