Kenneth R. Raven August 20, 1943-November 13, 2018 Kenneth R. Raven, 75, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Indiana. He was born August 20, 1943 in La Porte , Indiana, the son of Ralph Raven and Edith (Claypool) Raven. Kenneth was a hard worker and retired from Modine Manufacturing after 40 years. When he wasn't at work he enjoyed spending time outside taking care of his farm along with spending time in his garden, hunting, and fishing. On January 11, 1964, in La Porte, Indiana, he married Sharron (Kleine) Raven who survives. He is also survived by his son, Bob (Jodi) Raven; daughter, Gail (Dwayne) Ellis; special nephew, Mike (Teri) Raven; brother, Bill (Brenda) Raven; two grandchildren, Andrew Raven, Keith Ellis, and six great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother, Gene Raven, and grandchild, Bethany Ellis. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. Services will be private.
