Kenneth A. Brack July 16, 1926-November 13, 2013 Mr. Kenneth A. Brack , 87, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, IN. He was born July 16, 1926 in Newburgh, Indiana, the son of Martin S. Brack and Eddie (Scott) Brack. Kenneth was the owner and operator of Ken's Painting Service. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during W.W. II and was a member of the American Legion Post #21 of Westville, IN. Three of the things that Kenneth enjoyed was playing golf, wood working and gardening. He is survived by his 2 sons - Gary Brack, Randall (Barbara) Brack; 2 daughters - Rosanna (John) Gentry, and Regina Clark all of Evansville, IN; 8 Grandchildren - Kelley Castillo, Jennifer Bland, Kristina Brack, Sarah Beth Gentry, Adam Brack, John Martin Gentry, Nathan Ries and Adrian Ries and 6 great grandchildren. His long time companion - Jackie Shrader of La Porte, IN; her son Mike (Lisa) Shrader and her grandchildren Ben Shrader and Michaela Shrader and Shawna Shrader. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A life celebration will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Tuesday November 19, 2013 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 2:00 pm until time of the service at the church. Interment will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, IN on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church.
